Company Names/Idents

Becky and I have thought of various company names and idents but we narrowed it down to:

1. Producer: Banana Productions
2. Distributor: Tribal Entertainment

Examples of other producer idents are:












We created the name banana productions because it was a product of experiments of us mixing our names together.
The picture/ident we thought would work is a shot of me and Becky's faces holding a banana up as a smile and a sad face. However, this idea is not finalized as we are questioning how appropriate it would be for the slasher genre.




Famous examples of distributors:










We came up with the name Tribal Entertainment because it derived from a personal reference to our filming. As the babysitter is downstairs and hears noises coming from the bedroom upstairs, the noises resemble that of tribal drums. We liked that the name sprang from personal experience filming and that is was a memorable title to remember.
We have not thought of an image to suit the name as yet.


We researched the name Tribal Entertainment on imdb.com and there were 2 production companies with similar names; Tribal Home Entertainment and Tribalfilm Entertainment. However it is not an exact match so we will still use Tribal Entertainment as our distributor name.


We also researched the title Banana Productions. There were many similar matches such as 
Banana Split Productions and Blue Banana Productions; However, because these were not exact matches we will still use the name Banana Productions.

We have changed the Production name to Banana Drama. This relates more to the genre of our film opening as it could be interpreted as more sinister than Banana Productions. It also is memorable as it rhymes well. We have discussed having a a moving image ident of a banana being massacred.
